As a graduating interior design major from Adrian College, Lillian Baumhardt has developed a deep understanding of the principles of design and the technical skills required to create functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. With a strong foundation in color theory, space planning, and design software such as 2020 Design, AutoCad and SketchUp, Lillian has honed her ability to bring client visions to life. 

Throughout her studies, Lillian has developed a portfolio showcasing her ability to design for a range of spaces, from residential homes to commercial offices and retail spaces. With a passion for kitchen and bath, her design philosophy centers on creating spaces that reflect the unique needs and preferences of clients, while also incorporating timeless design elements. Lillian’s use of dark colors, simple lines, varied materials, layered details and geometric shapes define her masculine interior design style. 

In addition to her technical skills, Lillian has honed her communication and collaboration abilities through internships and extracurricular activities. She has experience working with clients and other designers through internship/work opportunities. She furthers her involvement in design as a current member of P.O.D. (Professional Organization of Design) where she served as secretary from 2021-2023. Also while attending Adrian College, Lillian was a member of the Adrian College Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating Team and the Adrian College Intercollegiate Team. She has competed on behalf of Team USA from 2019 through present and has served as team captain in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. Her experiences beyond the classroom have helped her further develop her time management and leadership skills.

Looking to the future, Lillian is excited to use her skills to create spaces that inspire, uplift, and enhance the lives of those who inhabit them. With a focus on kitchen and bath design, Lillian Baumhardt is eager to make a significant impact in the field of interior design.
